The important groups of work in the Daros Collection offer insight into major artistic trends and positions. The collection includes about 300 individual works. The emphasis lies on North American and European art of the second half of the 20th century. In addition to major exponents of American Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art, Minimal Art, and the New York art scene of the eighties, other important trailblazing contributors to current contemporary art are represented.

Core of the Daros Collection are the extensive groups of work by Andy Warhol, Brice Marden, Cy Twombly, Willem de Kooning and Gerhard Richter.
